Director's Note

Every free-spirited person dreams a lot. They dream to keep fighting, to touch the skyline. Tipu held those kind of dreams within his heart and the flows of ink. So I could not return such a grand arrangement of character and hipocracy of the time. In today’s India, the self-proclaimed fascist aggression does not have the strength and courage to fight like the hard-working personals. So I focused on the native weapons of the day in a little bit of light. Tipu’s fight has become a strip in the patriotic conspiracy. This has also shown me the story of pseudo patriots.

Synopsis of Play

‘In this errant continent, in true proposition,

There is no land for you and me.’

A Marxist intellectual, steadfast in his ideals and commitments, faces an investigation. Various charges were raised against him in that serious courtroom. He was constantly beaten with an invisible whip. His past is revealed to be a long and painful story of humiliation, betrayal and failure. Gradually, all the kites in the sky turned black and came down in his dreams. We live in a society where we have to search the dictionary again and again to find the meaning of the words like individual freedom, democracy, where masks stand and act as human beings, and the people who survive the fight are encouraged to leave the field and run away. In the thick fog of unbelief, no face can be seen clearly; in the land of famine, we hear only word after word.

He will ask for forgiveness; but to whom?

He will plead for his life; But why?

The embers of fire hidden in the left side of his chest still wait, one day the song of life will sprout within the hard dry stone of the prison.
